　　Assumption University is an English Medium Comprehensive University Offering baccalaureate, master, and doctoral degrees in Business, Arts, Sciences, Engineering and all facets of computers and computer technology.

　　泰国易三仓大学是一所采用英语授课的综合性大学。设有商科、文科、理科、工科及计算机相关学科的学士、硕士和博士学位。

　　Students attending Au hail from more than 50 nations, making Assumption　the largest provider of educational opportunities in Thailand for nonThai students. Au has the largest contingent of non Thai instructors in the country, with its instructors being drawn from more than 30 nations. A large percentage of the Thai staff have U.S., Australian, or European graduate degrees.

　　Since the University's curriculum is patterned after that of the U.S. semester　hour credit system and the vast majority of its textbooks are standard university US texts, the graduates receive an education that is both highly marketable and flexible. Studying at Au is a doorway that can lead to a highly productive career within the various sectors of society from which the students come and to which they aspire.

　　Where else can the door be opened? Au students have opportunities to study or transfer abroad. As exchange students, they may study for a semester or year in the US, Europe, Australia or elsewhere at major universities and colleges, often at greatly reduced costs. European, American, Australian and other students also attend Au. They sit for and in the same class as do all the Au students. In other words, Au is an International University not a University with an International program.

　　Transfer Students. Many students studying abroad have transferred into Au. Many, after completing one, two or sometimes three years at Au, transfer their credits abroad and complete their degrees in a US, Australian or UK university.

　　交换生 许多海外留学生都是易三仓大学的交换学生。同样的，在易三仓大学完成一年、两年或者三年的学习后就可以把他们的学分转到美国、澳洲、英国的大学继续学业。

　　Most students transferring into Au do so because of the Au significant cost advantage. They have found that studying abroad has become too expensive and that their families find it difficult to afford the high tuition and living costs associated with an overseas education.

　　大部分转学到易三仓大学的学生是因为易三仓大学在费用上占有很大的优势，他们发现留学海外的费用越来越昂贵，以致于他们的家庭无法为他们支付如此高昂的学费及生活费用。

　　All Au students pay the same tuition fees. Living costs in Thailand are a fraction of those found in Europe, Australia, or the U.S. However, many families and students want to receive their baccalaureate degrees from a western university but they cannot afford the cost associated with the programs. Many of these students opt for Au where they can study for one, two or three years and then transfer abroad. Their total educational cost is thus substantially reduced and they gain from both experiences.

　　In addition, many students need to improve their language skills prior to transferring into a US or Australian or UK system; Au is the largest educational institution in the world and deals with 10,000 or more ESL students who need help in developing their English language skills. Improving English language skills in a non-threatening environment is
often worthwhile since students can study both English and required courses at the same time.

The European Community and Australia have been working on developing a credit system that can accommodate a system such as Au's, thus the transfer opportunities will be further enhanced in the near future.

　　Graduate Study Abroad. Many of those who graduate from Au are not content to discontinue their studies at the baccalaureate level and thus they go on to graduate school. Quite a few remain at Au or study at other Thai universities, sometimes in a Thai Medium of instruction.

　　Many others decide to gain their master or doctorate degrees from abroad. These graduates generally study in the US, the UK or in Australia. Since Au degrees and programs meet or exceed international standards, they are recognized everywhere. 　　Of course, not all graduates make it to the top universities but they still manage to attend highly respectable and acceptable universities and complete their graduate studies.

　　Many students who initially wanted to transfer abroad after several years at Au change their minds, but those who opt to transfer are accepted far and wide and have little, if any, problem in attaining their degrees from abroad. These students earn a western degree at greatly reduced cost.
