Memorandum of Understanding
Between
The Ministry of Public Health of the Kingdom of Thailand
and
The ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China
on
cooperation in Setting up Thai-Chinese Traditional Center in Thailand

　　1. Under the Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) between the Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China on Cooperation in the Fields of Health,Medicine and Pharmaceutics signed in Beijing on May 29,1997 and the third session of joint Thai-Chinese Health Cooperation Committee meeting held in Bangkok on July 1,2000,the committee agreed to have cooperation in the following activities in item 2 and item 3.

　　2. Both sides agree to set up an Educational,research and services activities of Thai-Chinese Traditional Medicine Center in Thailand.
3. The Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China will assist the center mentioned in item 2 to be a first class traditional Chinese medicine center in the Southeast Asian Region.

　　4. the MOU was signed in the spirit of friendship and cooperation which has characterized the friendly relationship between the two countries and on the occasion of celebrating the 25anniversary of Thai-Chinese diplomatic relation ship in the year 2000.

　　5. Completed in Nonthaburi Province. Thailand on July 3,2000 in duplicate in English language for 2 copies.
